Consultant - Lisa Pitkin

Lisa Pitkin became a consultant to Frimley Park Hospital and The Royal Surrey County Hospital in 2008.   She undertook her ENT higher surgical training in South West Thames, including skull base training at Guys and a fellowship at The Royal Marsden.   She has a MSc with distinction in surgical sciences and her thesis was in immunology and allergy.

Miss Pitkin is a specialist in treating diseases of the head and neck, including cancer.  She regularly undertakes complex head and neck surgery, airway surgery and benign head and neck surgery.  Some of the conditions she treats are thyroid disease, including thyroid surgery (total thyroidectomy, total lobectomy and isthmectomy), surgical management of parathyroid adenomas, throat pain, salivary gland disease, diagnostic endoscopic examination of pharynx/larynx, dissection of cervical lymph nodes, sinonasal disorders and allergy.

Miss Pitkin is the Training Programme Director for ENT higher surgical training in Kent, Surrey and Sussex and the head and neck lead in Surrey.
